KENTER Fire Retardant Low Smoke (FRLS) wires have been launched with a single minded objective to overcome these deficiencies. KENTER FRLS wires are made of multi draw Pure Copper Conductors. Purity of copper offers uniform resistance which makes these wires long lasting. PVC compound is added with chemicals at compounding stage to increase the Fire Resistant properties and decrease the Smoke Emission. Normal PVC compound have an Oxygen Index of 25% while KENTER FRLS wires have an Oxygen Index of 30% and Smoke Density of <40%. This offers improved visibility for evacuation of trapped victims and facilitates firefighting and rescue operations. banks, hospitals, factories, commercial complexes and residential apartments, etc. For installations with human surroundings and chemical or refineries, or hazardous plants etc. – Cables with improved oxygen index and low smoke properties are used.
